Five-year deal adds to company’s significant presence in the state.
Horsham, Pa., October 24, 2019 – Inframark, LLC, is pleased to announce that the City of Point Comfort, Texas, has awarded the company a five-year contract to operate its surface water and wastewater treatment plants, as well as distribution system monitoring. In addition to the operation of the existing infrastructure, Inframark will support the City in the rehabilitation of the 1.1 million gallons-per-day surface water treatment plant. Inframark started operations October 9.
The addition of Point Comfort builds on the company’s significant presence across the state, where it provides operations and maintenance services to more citizens in Texas than any other private utility firm. Inframark is also the largest contract operator in Texas, with a deep concentration of facilities in the major metropolitan areas of Houston, Dallas, and Austin. Inframark now has over 650 employees managing more than 200 water and wastewater facilities there.
“We are looking forward to Inframark taking care of our staffing and maintenance needs,” said Point Comfort Councilman Mitch McBride.
“Inframark is proud to add Point Comfort to our growing list of satisfied clients and customers in Texas,” said Inframark President and CEO Stephane Bouvier. “We look forward to providing the City with the high level of service and customer satisfaction it should expect from its water and wastewater operator.”
