Inframark Employees Volunteer to Plant Trees in Local Community Park

Company joins forces with One Tree Planted and the Abington Shade Tree Commission to better the environment and the local community.

Horsham, Penn., November 20, 2018 ─ In partnership with One Tree Planted, Inframark, LLC, held a tree planting event with the Abington Shade Tree Commission (STC) on Friday, November 16, at Rockwell Park in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.

Braving windy, chilly conditions, several employees from Inframark’s corporate office and representatives from the STC planted 15 trees in the snowy ground of the neighborhood park. While onsite, several local community members took the time to stop by to thank the team for their beautifying efforts.

“These trees will serve us for decades, providing beauty and shade for the playground and sidewalks, and critical habitat for birds and pollinators. At maturity, each tree will be able to take up over 150 gallons of water per day and intercept rainfall in a manner that will improve the field conditions and water quality,” said Rita Stevens, Chair for the Abington Shade Tree Commission. “I am thrilled with the enthusiasm, hard work and attention to detail that each person brought to this day. Thank you for caring for this special place.”
