Disability Insurance

Effective January 1, 2025, we have begun a partnership with Prudential for FMLA and Disability leave services. 

If you need to report a non-work-related absence or a disability, please call Prudential at 877-367-7781, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am – 8pm EST. You can speak to one of Prudential’s absence professionals or follow the prompts to record your absence and/or disability information. Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance can help you in the event you become disabled and are unable to work due to a non-work-related injury or illness. Inframark provides company-paid basic disability coverage through Prudential.

Short-term Disability (STD) – benefits begin on the 15th day of your absence, after the 14-day elimination period is complete. Inframark automatically provides you with basic coverage of 65% or 80% (if you have 5 or more years of service) of your salary. This benefit can be supplemented with accrued sick, vacation, and floating holiday time. All full-time and part-time Inframark team members are eligible for STD benefits after they have completed 90 days of continuous employment. 

Long-Term Disability (LTD) – LTD benefits begin where your STD benefits end, which is after you have been disabled for a total of 90 calendar days (weekends are included). Inframark automatically provides you with basic coverage of 60% of your monthly salary to a maximum of $10,000/month. 

By default, unless you opt out during your initial new hire enrollment or during open enrollment, we will apply taxes to the value of your company-paid LTD benefits (“Tax Me Now”), which ensures you a tax-free benefit if you become disabled.
