Effective January 1, 2025, we are moving from Lincoln Financial to Prudential. Follow the instructions below until December 31, 2024.
Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance can help if you become disabled and are unable to work due to a covered injury or sickness. Inframark provides company-paid basic disability coverage through Lincoln Financial Group.
Short-term Disability (STD) – benefits begin on the 15th day of your absence, after the 14-day elimination period is complete. Inframark automatically provides you with basic coverage of 65% or 80% (if you have 5 or more years of service) of your salary. This benefit can be supplemented with accrued sick, vacation, and floating holiday time. The waiting period is 90 days of continuous employment.
Long-Term Disability (LTD) – benefits begin after you have been disabled for a total of 90 calendar days. Inframark automatically provides you with basic coverage of 60% of your monthly salary to a maximum of $10,000/month.
By default, unless you opt out, we will apply taxes to the value of your company-paid LTD benefits (“Tax Me Now”) , which ensures you a tax-free benefit if you become disabled.
